NCAA Championship Game
This first time that 4 number 1 seeds make the final four, and you have an amazing Kansas team, against a 1 loss Memphis team.
I may not be able to watch this game as a UCONN fan. But I'll be watching as a basketball fan.
Rush for Kansas, and Rose for Memphis. If you're not planning on watching this game, change your mind. Right now.
My Prediction: Memphis Edges out a close one. Memphis with a slight edge in the backcourt, Kansas a slight edge in the front court but they negate that themselves with turnovers, which Memphis specializes in scoring off of. Both of them are fairly evenly bad at free throw shooting. Memphis gets more bad press for it, but in the tourney Kansas has actually been worse.
Memphis in a close one, but a Championship game for the ages is my prediction.
BBall
Watch more basketball. I really want to watch as much BBall as possible. Why ? Because it's awesome.
Yeah Football may be my favorite sport, but if you're a sports nut you love watching sports period.
And basketball is a definately more than just a sport worth watching. College, NBA, whatever, there's so many games on t.v. so often. So do it, I'm going to try to. Watch more BBall on TV or in person even.
NO Hornets ?????
The west is so tight that almost anything can happen, and with the wheeling and dealing that has been going on, who knows if the balance of power will shift or not.
And it makes me wonder, the Celtics are the best in the East. People talk about the Celtics and Detroit a lot.
How come noone has been talking about the Hornets ?
Yes maybe they're not western conferrence perrennials like Phoenix or LA or San Antonio.
But they have the best record in the West, they have Chris Paul, and Peja Stojakovic and hey that's enough to get a little respect from me.
Granted everyone gave Dallas respect last year ( for having the best record in the NBA ) and they got knocked out in the first round by Baron Davis and Golden State.
However I don't see that happening to the Hornets. Chris Paul averages over 20 pts a game, and 10 ast a game. When you have that kind of a threat running your offense with Tyson Chandler down low averaging 12.1 pts a game and 12.5 reb a game and Stojakovic throwing up 3 balls behind the arc. You have a well balanced, well run offense that I don't see slowing down. They're defense isn't terrible either.
So In any case many of you maybe wonder why I just rambled about the Hornets when I'm a Celtics fan, but knowing my team is the best in the east and seeing them get coverage on ESPN and etc. it's really boggled my mind why the Hornets haven't gotten any respect.
PATS CHARGERS IS SO SOON I CAN TASTE IT
In the playoffs every game is the most important game of the year until you win. And then the next one is.
Therefore I cannot sleep in anticipation of the game.
I'm still in Arizona, and the game is only a few measly hours away, a little less than 12 to be exact.
I cannot freaking wait.
suns wolves, preview pats chargers
So I just finished watching superbad for the second time, and I realized I needed to update this on the suns vs wolves and stuff.
It was absolutely phenomenal, I mean I'm a sports nut so even though it was not a celtics game, at least I got to see my favorite non celtic pro ball player steve nash.
He did great, and so did leandru barbosa, I loved watching him during the olympic qualifiers of the summer. He's the best player off the bench in the league in my opinion.
It was close during the first half but there was no way the wolves could keep pace with the suns. In the third quarter bell, barbosa, and nash were knockin down 3s like nothing. It ended in a 20 pt blowout. The cheerleaders were really hot as well.
I can't freakin wait for pats char
